Canvas

A while back I posted that I had won a canvas in a competition that I had entered.  The canvas duly came through the post and I was amazed at how big it was.  I didn't realise it would be this size, I think it would cost me a fair penny  to have this framed, although I really do like the canvas.  So here it is, the canvas that I won courtesy of Mont Marte Joe.  It was very difficult to get a full picture without the canvas 'bending' in the middle, but I have done the best that I could, I hope that you like it as much as I do.

Free Craft Downloads

New papers have just been released by the Free Craft Downloads site.  They have CARTOON PIGS, MORRIS MINOR CARS, NEW CHRISTMAS SET (2) AND NEW NAMES.

These are not the full sheets that are available, you will have to go to the site to see all of the new papers that you can get.  The new Christmas set is wonderful as are the little pigs, if you are into Morris Minor cars then you should really pop along and get your papers while you can.

My Mum and Dad

It is my Mum and Dad's Wedding Anniversary in October and I came across one of their only wedding pictures which I think is gorgeous.  When they got married, they didn't have a great deal of money to have wedding pictures taken, but someone that my Dad knew told him that he would take their wedding pictures for them as a wedding present.  Pictures were taken, but the man disappeared and this was the only picture that they were ever given, every other one that they managed to get was fuzzy and/or out of focus.  So this picture is their pride and joy.
I am wanting to make a card incorporating their wedding photograph, at the moment I don't know the best way to actually 'show off' this card.

Allsorts Challenge - Week 224 - Baby Baby

Allsorts Challenge - Week 224 - Baby Boy

Good morning everyone, sorry I have been MIA for a while, I will try and post when I can.  Today, I am going to enter a few cards into the Alllsorts Challenge - Week 224 - Baby Baby.  I am entering 3 creations into the challenge, but there might be one that is backlinked (I am not too sure) so that will not be included into the challenge, but I would like the other ones to be considered for this challenge.  So here we go.

This is another card which is proving popular amongst the baby cards and it seems to be all boys for the minute.  I have got a few baby girl cards in my box, but they aren't going as well as the boys' ones.  So it must be something in the water that is making everyone produce boys for the minute.

I enjoyed making this card as it had so many little bits and pieces attached to the card.  I honestly cannot remember the name of the card, (sorry about that) but it really was a great card to make from start to finish.

This one was a new card which I just completed today, I know there is another one that is similar but that one went away about 2 weeks ago.  I seem to be getting similar orders as people are seeing the cards, liking them and asking for me to produce a similar one to the one previous.  So I think I best have everything that I need cut out for this type of card as it is proving to be rather popular.

I hope that everyone likes my new cards which are just getting ready to leave 'home' and meet their new babies.

Dad's Birthday

Today is my Dad's birthday and obviously I wanted to make him a birthday card.  I haven't been feeling too well of late and things just seemed to fall at my feet and my Dad's birthday was here and I hadn't even made the card.  So this morning I made him a card, not exactly the card that I had in mind,  but at least it was made by me with love.

When I took the card over to my Dad's house he was over the moon with it, and said that he couldn't have asked for a nicer card.  I am so glad that he liked it.

Bit by the Bug Tuesday - Marcella

It is time for another Bit By the Bug Tuesday. The day where I introduce you all to the newest freebies over at Creative Bug on the Loose. This week we have...

Marcella

Here is my card ...........

I coloured the image of Marcella with Promarkers and I used Pinflair Craft Glaze in order to give her a little shine, which I don't know whether or not you can see it.   I put two different coloured borders at the top and the bottom of the card and used self adhesive stickers around the monkey.

So, what are you waiting for? To take advantage of this sweet image, head on over to Creative Bug on the Loose and follow the instructions on how to bring this cute little Mortimer monkey home with you. While you are over there, don't forget to check out all the great digis Naomi has available in the store for purchase and don't forget to leave her a little love too.

I've caught the Bug, have you?

Free Craft Downloads

Good afternoon everyone, I hope you are all having a wonderful day and that maybe even the sun is shining for you.  Although the sun is shining here today, it is still extremely cold.  I think that our summer sun has definately gone for the season and we are now entering into the colder weather. Oh well, at least we had a few weeks of glorious sun for a change.

Just to let you all know that the Free Craft Downloads site has just put on loads and loads of new papers, they have cartoon cows, female dragons, various new names and an abundance of new Christmas papers, just what everyone is looking for.

Here are a couple of samples although it is not the full paper as you will have to go to the Free Craft Downloads site to get them.  They have some really great papers on the site this time, so why not go and have a look and see what you can get from the site, it really is a great site for freebie papers.
