Blogiversary Giveaway

Good afternoon all my wonderful blogging friends.  I just thought I would pop in and say thank you to all who have entered my giveaway to help me celebrate my first anniversary of blogging.
This has been a totally new experience for me and although at the moment, I have lost my mojo and have not been crafting for a while now, you are still coming to visit me and for that I am really grateful.
I could not have asked for a nicer bunch of people who are visiting my blog and because of your visits, I know that I will be crafting again really soon.

I know that you will all be wondering who the winner is of the giveaway and this will be coming soon.

I have a very good friend of mine coming to my house and we are going to put all the entries into a Christmas hat and she is going to draw out the winner, I am not going to have any part of this.  I have passed this job over to Karen, I didn't know how to do it any other way.  So I hope that you all think that this is a fair way for me to carry out the draw.

I wish everyone good luck and even when this giveaway is finished, I will be having another one once I reach 100 followers.  I can't believe that I now have over 80 followers, so I know that I will have to start crafting again in order for you all to have things to look at.  I probably won't take up full time crafting now until after the New Year as I want to start the year afresh and with some new ideas.  I am also going to start making jewellery next year also, so that I have something else to keep my mind occupied.

Christmas Tree

Hi everyone, apologies for being missing in action for so long, I haven't forgotten about you.  I am trying to get myself organised for Christmas and it is going very slowly, but I am sure that I will get there eventually.  Well I have to as Christmas isn't that far away. lol
First though is my birthday, which is tomorrow, and I can't believe that another year has passed so quickly.  Mind you though, I am still really only in my 20's, lol well I like to think so anyway.
Over the past week I managed to put up my Christmas tree and decided to post it on my blog just so that you could see it, I had to take the pics with my phone, so the quality isn't as good as I would have liked, but here is my tree and the little people that take up residence underneath it at this time of year.

Hopefully Santa will leave some lovely Christmas presents beneath the tree, we will just need to wait and see.  I know that I have been a good girl this year, so fingers crossed.

I hope that everyone has a wonderful Christmas and Best Wishes for 2014.

Good morning everyone, I just thought I would bring you more papers from FREE CRAFT DOWNLOADS.  They always seem to have different papers on offer, especially at this time of year, although they have loads of papers online that you can use at any time of the year.  So if you still haven't had a look at this great website, why not take 10 minutes out of your blogging day and pop along and see whether or not they have anything that you can make use of.  Also, don't forget that they have a page where you can make your own papers.  Great site, great resource, so go along and give them your support and get loads of free papers that you can use in your crafting masterpieces.

Hi everyone

Good morning everyone, I just thought I would write you all a little note to thank everyone for keeping coming to visit my blog.  I couldn't thank everyone enough for their support over the past few weeks, especially my followers who have been there for me for a long time and my newest followers.  

Thank you so much for all your visits, I know that I haven't been about for quite a while now and for that I am extremely sorry.  
Unfortunately, I haven't been feeling too well and my crafting 'mojo' has totally left me at the moment.  This is due to the things that are happening in my life at the moment and I can't concentrate or do anything 'crafty'.  I know that I will eventually get back to crafting, but at the moment things are sitting on the back burner.

So I genuinely thank every single one of you for supporting me and still coming to visit me.  I will post the odd thing, it may be from other sites like free crafting sites etc, just so that you know that I haven't completely left you all.

The giveaway will still be going ahead, and this is really important to me, especially at a time when I haven't been about.  I just really want to thank everyone for all that you do to support me and my little giveaway is my way to thank you.

Christmas cards

Hi everyone, it is only me again.  I just thought I would post a few Christmas cards that I have actually made over the past few weeks.  These are definately not the best cards that I have ever made and it shows how my 'mojo' has gone and left me.  I thought I would post them anyway, so that I can always look back and see how the cards worked out even after everything had left me. lol
These are definately NOT my best works of art, but I still had to show them.  Hopefully, the old 'mojo' will return sooner rather than later.

So here we go:

As I have said, these are definately not my best, but this is the last lot of cards that I am going to be making this year.  Sorry but the layout of the cards did not work out the way that I wanted them to, I think everything is going 'wonky' for me. lolI am going to have a much needed rest from making cards and I have a few tests that have to be carried out by the GP, so until all results are back and I know that I am not losing the plot, I will leave trying to make cards for the time being.  Please don't leave me, but keep coming back - you never know when I will post something different.

I hope that you are all managing to get your Christmas cards completed for this year and are looking forward to all that you have planned for this Christmas.

Another surprise win!!

Just thought I would let you all know, I had another win through the post today.  Tickets for the Christmas Fair at the SECC, don't know whether or not I will manage, but it is nice to have another unexpected win.

I'm a winner

Surprise post this morning from Practical Publishing. I won 4 packets of blank shaped cards, so I hope that this will help 'kick-start' my missing mojo.  It has still not returned and has been away for quite a while now.
No real excuse, but I haven't been feeling too well of late, although I have put on my usual 'mask' to everyone, saying that I am fine.  I am hoping for usual service to return as soon as I am able to.

I am still trying to make cards, although what I used to produce is not coming through in the cards, so the majority of them have only been fit for the bin.
I keep hoping that I will get a surprise and one day, I will just pick up and start making my cards again, maybe soon, or who knows I may produce one today with one of my new cards that I received through the post.

I have taken a couple of pics of the cards that I have won.  So fingers crossed that I will get my 'mojo' back - sooner rather than later.  It just had to be at Christmas that I have lost everything.

Please don't leave me, but keep coming back and visiting as you never know when there will be a card from me.

I had kept looking at these cards and was always going to buy them, but never quite got round to it, so at least I don't need to buy them now.  

I just need to try and make some cards from them.

Free Craft Downloads

Hi everyone, well Free Craft Downloads have sent out some new papers for Christmas. There are background papers of various sizes, pyramage papers, decoupage papers, there is something for everyone. The link above takes you to all of the new papers, so you don't have to go all around the site to look for everything. So if you haven't had a chance to go and have a look at what is on offer, go along now to see some of the papers that you can get to use for your cards, scrapbooking etc.  There are plenty to choose from, so I am quite sure you will get something that you like.

I have put a couple of samples of papers that you could get by going to the website and using what you can.

Remember, all of these papers come in all different sizes and there could be decoupage, pyramage.  

Don't forget there is also a page where you could make your own papers and it is all up to you, whatever you would like to make.

Bit by the Bug Tuesday - Scarecrow

It is time for another Bit By the Bug Tuesday. The day where I introduce you all to the newest freebies over at Creative Bug on the Loose. This week we have,

the Scarecrow

Here is my card ...........

I coloured in the Scarecrow with my watercolour pencils and used Lemon Yellow Liquid Pearls on the stalks of the corn.  I edged the card with Red Pepper ink and put 4 dotty brads at each corner.   

I used the sentiment from TLC Creations and the Just For You was done on my laptop.
